USPS: The U.S. Postal Service and Electric Delivery Vehicles
Over the past 10 years, the U.S. Postal Service’s Office of Inspector General (OIG) has produced more than 30 white papers on technology-related topics. These papers were grouped into four categories: mail innovations, data analytics, autonomous technologies, and intelligent infrastructure.
In this body of work, the Postal Service outlines their plan to acquire and operate new Next Generation Delivery Vehicles (NGDVs). A portion of the NGDV fleet is likely to be electric.
