The USPS® has announced six promotions for 2022. Generating excitement among mailers and providing an opportunity for mailing discounts, the USPS Promotions and Incentives are designed to benefit mailers who combine inspiring designs and useful technologies in their mailpieces. USPS 2022 Promotions and Incentives
Tactile, Sensory and Interactive Mailpiece Engagement – This promotion encourages innovations in paper and stock, substrates, inks, interactive elements and finishing techniques to help enhance customer engagement.
- Registration Dates: December 15, 2021 – July 31, 2022
- Promotion Dates: February 1, 2022 – July 31, 2022
- Eligibility: Marketing Mail® letters and flats; First-Class Mail® letters, cards, and flats
- Discount: 4%

Emerging and Advanced Technology – This promotion is designed to encourage mailers to incorporate new and emerging technologies such as Enhanced AR, VR/MR, NFC, Video in Print, and multichannel mail integration with voice assistants.
- Registration Dates: January 15, 2022 – August 31, 2022
- Promotion Dates: March 1, 2022 – August 31, 2022
- Eligibility: Marketing Mail letters and flats; First-Class Mail letters, cards, and flats
- Discount: 2-3%

Earned Value Reply Mail – The Earned Value Reply Mail promotion rewards mailers when recipients send their Business Reply Mail (BRM), Courtesy Reply Mail (CRM) and Share Mail envelopes and cards back into the mailstream.
- Registration Dates: : February 15, 2022 – March 31, 2022
- Promotion Dates: April 1, 2022 – June 30, 2022
- Eligibility: Credits may be applied to postage for qualifying First-Class and Marketing Mail letters & flats and must be used by December 31, 2022.
- Discount: $0.02 credit per counted reply and/or share mail piece

Personalized Color Transpromo – This promotion rewards mailers who incorporate color marketing messaging within bills and statements to improve connection to and response from customers and enhance their value.
- Registration Dates: May 15, 2022 – December 31, 2022
- Promotion Dates: July 1, 2022 – December 31, 2022
- Eligibility: Qualifying First-Class Mail presort and automation letters (bills and statements)
- Discount: 3%
