The Envelope & Print Division of Tension sales team shares their most memorable parts of this year’s show.
From April 27-30, 2025, the National Postal Forum (NPF) was held in Nashville, TN. During the show, Tension visited, connected and enjoyed meeting with customers, prospects, friends and fellow industry leaders. In this blog, our sales team shares their key takeaways from NPF 2025. We hope to see you again next year!

“One of the best conversations I had at our NPF booth was around Tension Direct and how it has streamlined the ordering process for the administrative manager of a private professional service company. The ability to select specific products and quantities, proof, select shipping locations and then track the order is of great benefit.“
“I thought one of the most valuable aspects of NPF this year was having multiple dedicated time sessions for the attendees to walk the supplier showcase and interact directly with suppliers like us! I was able to engage with a few large volume mailers who seeking the dedicated production time and warehousing space Tension will provide to support their higher usage items while helping them to preserve their cash flow.
Many also asked about how Tension is helping customers take advantage of the remaining 2025 USPS Postal Promotions to save on their postage expenses!”

“Attending NPF this year gave us the opportunity to meet some of our clients face-to-face and engage in meaningful conversations about the industry. It was a great chance to strengthen our business relationships and gain insights directly from those we serve. As someone new to Tension, this being my first NPF show made the experience even more impactful. I also found it incredibly valuable to spend time with Tension team members from outside our region—building those internal connections was a highlight of the event.”
“My biggest takeaway was the encouragement from the USPS to more than just incorporate Artificial Intelligent (AI), but to embrace its possibilities. While at NPF, I was able to visit the AI Innovation Lab, which included AI based activities that allowed visitors to generate images that could later be turned into postcards! It was an impressive experience, and left me excited to see the future of AI within the USPS.”

“This years NPF celebrated the 250th anniversary of the Postal Service. Besides meeting Ben Franklin, America’s first Postmaster General, I saw many customers, colleagues and industry movers and shakers sharing great ideas on how to best navigate today’s economic rough seas.
I was proud to accept, along with my USPS counterpart from the DFW Postal Customer Council Kelley Davis, the Bronze award for Excellence in Communications. A great honor that recognizes the hard work by the PCC board back home!”
I thought was the most unique aspect of NPF this year was the showroom floor traffic seemed to be more serious, end customers this year. In conversations with attendees, we concluded that this was due in part to the great sessions and presenters. The other part that was interesting to me is how much of the crowd remained on the showroom floor on day two, as there were many attendees still engaged and visiting booths.
